Description:

Basic coated electrode for welding creep resistant, heat resistant, corrosion resistant and high toughness at low temperatures Ni-Cr alloys. High temperature resistant up to 800ºC (500ºC in sulphurous atmospheres), resistant to scaling up to 950ºC and good fracture toughness at temperatures down to (-)196ºC. Suitable for a wide range of dissimilar joints between stainless steels and Ni base alloys, stainless steels to low alloyed steels and unalloyed steels to Ni-based alloys. The main applications are constructional and repair process.

Yield strenght [Rp0,2]: > 390 MPa
Tensile strength [Rm]: > 590 MPa
Elongation [A5]: > 30%
Impact energy  [Charpy V (-196ºC)]: > 60J

Description

Basic coated electrode for welding creep resistant, heat resistant, corrosion resistant and high toughness at low temperatures Ni-Cr alloys. High temperature resistant up to 800ºC (500ºC in sulphurous atmospheres), resistant to scaling up to 950ºC and good fracture toughness at temperatures down to (-)196ºC. In the absence of equivalent base material, the Mo addition impart resistance to damage caused by creep and provide resistance to localized corrosion. Suitable for welding and cladding nickel based alloys such as Alloy 600, Alloy 601, Alloy 800 or similar materials and joining dissimilar materials as stainless to low alloyed steels and stainless steels to nickel alloys.
