Description:

Rutile coated electrode with 18Cr/9Ni/5Mn type weld metal. Austenitic
microstructure with some ferrite providing good resistance to hot cracking, corrosion and wear. Suitable for joining 13% Mn steels, dissimilar steels, difficult-to-weld steels and also as buffer layer prior hardfacing.
Scaling resistant up to 800ºC and the deposit work hardens up to 400 HB.

Tensile strength [Rm]: > 600 MPa
Elongation [A5]: > 34%
Hardness: 200 HB

Description:

Rutile coated electrode with low carbon 19Cr/9Ni type weld metal. Austenitic
microstructure with some ferrite providing good resistance to hot cracking. Applied when high resistance to intergranular corrosion is relevant. Good behaviour to atmospheric corrosion, as well as, moderately oxidizing and reducing environments. Operating in severe corrosion conditions at temperatures under 400ºC. Can be exposed without appreciable scaling up to 815ºC. Interpass temperature below 150ºC. Used in processing of chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, textile, food and beverage, mining, pulp and paper.

Description:

Rutile-acid coated electrode with carbon content controlled (0,04-0,08%). Austenitic microstructure with some ferrite. To weld austenitic creep resistant steels for operating temperatures up to 700ºC and where high mechanical properties are required, mainly tensile strength. Use Interpass temperature below 200ºC. May be applied in 301; 302; 304;305; 304H; 321H e 347H welding base materials grades. Widely used in processing of chemicals, petrochemicals, food and beverage, dairy, pulp and paper, tanks and vessels fabrication.

Description:

Rutile coated electrode with low carbon 23Cr/12Ni type weld metal. Austenitic microstructure with ferrite. Suitable for joining similar metal joints if operating temperatures are below 400ºC, dissimilar joints between stainless steels and unalloyed or low alloy steels (e.g. AISI 304 with ASTM A204 Gr.A,B and C or ASTM A387 Gr.11 and 12 or ASTM A387 Gr.22) and as buffer layer before hardfacing application. Also suitable for joining ferritic-martensitic 410 and 430 type stainless steels.

Description:

Rutile coated electrode with 25Cr/20Ni type weld metal. Fully Austenitic microstructure. Suitable for joining and surfacing 310S and similar types of high temperature stainless steels. Used for corrosion and oxidation resistance in continuous service temperatures up to 1050ºc provided reducing sulphur gases are not present. Welding should be performed taking care about low heat input (max. 1.0 KJ/mm) and interpass temperature (max.100-120ºc). Employed in heat treatment and chemical processing, also in contact with hot acids in food processing.

Description:

Rutile coated electrode with 29Cr/9Ni type weld metal. Austenitic-ferritic microstructure with ferrite content of about 45%. Specifically geared for joining steels of unknown composition, in welding steels of difficult weldability (e.g. high manganese steels, high carbon hardenable steels, spring steels and free-cutting steels), as well as for dissimilar joints on steels of different chemical composition or strength and also as wear resistant surfacing (e.g. toothed wheels), buffer layer before hardfacing application (e.g. cold and hot working tools). Preheat not normally required although advisable for thick walled ferritic parts at 100-200ºc.

Description:

Rutile coated electrode with 29Cr/9Ni type weld metal. Austenitic-ferritic microstructure with ferrite content of about 49%. Developed specifically for the purpose of removing broken bolt stubs, also applied for joining steels of unknown composition, in welding steels of difficult weldability (e.g. high manganese steels, high carbon hardenable steels, spring steels and free-cutting steels), as well as for dissimilar joints on steels of different chemical composition or strength and also as wear resistant surfacing (e.g. toothed wheels), buffer layer before hardfacing application (e.g. cold and hot working tools). Preheat not normally required although advisable for thick walled ferritic parts at 100-200ºc.

Description:

Rutile coated electrode with niobium stabilised 18Cr/10Ni type weld metal. Austenitic microstructure with some ferrite. Designed for the welding of 321 and 347 stabilised stainless steels and is also suitable for the non-stabilised 304 and 304L. The presence of stabilising niobium makes it resistant to intergranular corrosion after exposure to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation range of 427 – 871°C. Applied in chemical processing, pharmaceutical and biochemistry production, food and beverage process equipment and storage and waste heat recovery systems.

Description:

Rutile coated electrode with 23,5Cr/13Ni/2,5Mo type weld metal. Austenitic microstructure with ferrite. Molybdenum addition improves tensile strength and corrosion resistence. Used for the welding of 316 type clad steels as well as buffer layer in welding of dissimilar metals e.g. unnaloyed or low alloy steels to stainless steels.

Description:

Designed for the welding of molybdenum alloyed austenitic stainless steels 316 and 316L grades and the Nb or Ti stabilized stainless steels of the same type. Used for service temperatures up to 400ºC. Applied in the following industries: pharmaceutical, textile, chemical, paper, petrochemical, food and beverage, and parts exposed to marine atmospheres.
